New car seat

Alison seems to be much happier in her forward facing car seat. We decided that since she was over the guidelines (even though suggestions are to keep baby in rear facing even longer maybe) that we would make the switch. The above picture was taken once we arrived at daycare on my way to work in the morning. She rarely falls asleep during the morning drive anymore but sometimes there are exceptions. And then the below picture was taken after I picked her up and we were ready to head home. She seems to be much happier being able to see what all is going on and able to spread her legs out. Now I just wish I had tinted windows or maybe a sun sheild on her window. We will have her all set eventually. I just love being able to see her better because she is always so cute! :)

Trip to the zoo; we love the zoo!

Looking at the otters sleeping on the rock.

Alison is good at pointing at things....

The polar bear was putting on an impressive show of swimming laps. She would flip backwards and push off the glass with her back paws. Much cooler than the pictures portray.

Alison wasn't so sure about sitting on the little bear. I didn't let go of course; or fit into the picture. :)

We put Alison in and out of the stroller quite a bit. She was good about it but didn't want to leave the baby deer and llamas. I think she loved that she could stick her arm through and pet the baby deer.

We probably could have spent most of the day in this area of the zoo.

We went on and saw monkeys and birds and tigers and lions and elephants and pretty much all of the animals we could see! We thought maybe Alison would fall asleep in her stroller but she never did. Maybe she loves the zoo as much as we do! This is her second zoo adventure after all.

Hugs for Daddy while looking out at the animals.
