Country, New Orleans, and Bond

As previously noted, we had fun events to attend in the month of March! Mainly charity auctions that we try to use our creativity skills and go along with the themes of the parties. So, we dressed up in Denim and Dazzle for the country western theme to benefit St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs. The next weekend we went to the RC race in Vinton, IA. Chuck finished fourth and fifth in his two classes of cars--both in the A main. I am proud of his efforts and finishes. I filled in as his Crew Chief. The next weekend my parents were able to visit us and spend the night. We enjoyed their company, good food, and good times. My mom helped us take care of some plants so that is always nice. We met up with Lucas and Levi at their house for lunch (and Amber for a few minutes). We love whatever time we can have with them!

Then that night we enjoyed the event for Hope House. They had a New Orleans theme and I wore a fun mask and beads and carried a sparkly wand. This past weekend was an event to benefit Rainbow Center and the theme was You Ought to be in Pictures. We joined the festivities as James Bond and the Bond girl Vesper. Unfortunately, we did not capture any pictures from the events. Just imagine that we were pretty good lookin'. :)

We have also enjoyed watching Mizzou B-ball and Penguins hockey this past month. And as the weather is fitting, we have been able to play some golf! One of these days we will begin to share some photos as well. That usually makes things a bit more exciting than just words.... But for now and until next time, we hope you enjoy the written updates.
