Yes, we are still wanting to provide updates for our fans :)

Recently, Dad asked me if I was quitting the blog....  This means that it has been way too long since my last update and I decided that I needed to devote some time to it!  I also don't want my sister to give up on me and stop checking back so here goes!  This might be kind of crazy since it's been 3 months!  Maybe pictures will do the best job of telling the stories to provide updates and reviews of happenings... Beware that this may be totally random at times and some things are still yet to be added and some things are out of order on the post, but enjoy!

This is Amelia at 1 month old.  2 week baby stats (from memory b/c I don't have the paper in front of me): 7 lbs 10 oz, 20 in long, 13 something head circumference...good things come in small packages!

Alison loves her baby sister.  She calls her "Mana".  She also likes to get right in her face and give her kisses.  Sometimes she tries to lay on Mia to give her hugs and we have to remind her that baby sister is still really little and we have to be careful.  Luckily Amelia is no worse for the wear most of the time and generally smiles and coos at the sound of her cheerful big sister saying HI BABY!

We had a play date with one of Alison's friends, Dylan, from daycare.  Chuck jokes that I already have them lined up to be together b/c I always talk about how cute Alison and Dylan are with each other.  Well, they are cute together.  It's just fun to watch almost 2 year olds play.  :)
And eat tons of goldfish.  Alison didn't mind sharing too much but she wanted to control the bowl.
This is my OB/Gyn.  He is awesome if I do say so myself.  The pic was taken at my 6 week checkup after Amelia was born.  All of the nurses fought over getting to help out and hold her.

Mia enjoys tummy time.  She has rolled at least 4 times from her tummy to her back.  I love to spike her hair as you can kind of see from the pics.  It's a little lighter than it was when she was first born, but we may have a brunette in our future.
Hey, Mom.
Next I am going to work on trying to scoot to get that soccer ball.

Alison is interested in dressing herself these days but she also likes to run around without said clothes.

Um, have I mentioned a few times maybe that we love the zoo?  :)  We usually get to watch the polar bear Nikita swim but today she was walking around.

Chuck, Alison, and Amelia (who is cozy in the carseat/stroller) with the bear statue.  I didn't realize at the time that I was missing the bear's head in the photo.

We can pretend we are riding an elephant.  She is patting its head.
Alison could spend the entire time feeding the deer.

Fun squirrel.  His or her eyes aren't really red but it was kind of cool anyway.  And that there is a glass between us is kind of cool too.
You can kind of make out two heads at the top of the tree-like plaything.  That's Alison and her daddy.
She went down the slide once or twice.  :)  Or maybe 3 times....
She tood on the rock to look out at the kangaroos.  She was saying "hop, hop"

And also making fishy lips.
Lioness is taking a nap.  The girls must do all the hard work.  :)
Of course we need to see the giraffes.  I am very excited about the upcoming plans to have a giraffe feeding station.  Almost camo sitting under the tree and by a big log.  A peaceful time for the giraffe I thought.

This is a pic one of the first few days after Mia was welcomed home.  Lots of sleeping to grow big and strong!
4 generations.  (I have 4 generations with Mom, Grammie, Me and Mia too but not on my camera so that will find its way here eventually....)

Cute cuddly time with Grandpa.

Kosse and Auntie Corrine came to visit to meet Mia too!  Kosse looks so cute stretched out taking a nap like such a big boy already!
Mia likes time with Auntie Corrine!

And Auntie Amber and Uncle Luke!

We had maybe one good snow this winter so I'm glad we were able to be out in it a little while.  We had snow boots for the occasion but wouldn't keep mittens on!

Flurry has fun in the snow too! :)
