"You want to take my picture but I'm too busy"

Alison is crawling wherever she wants to go now...if things are really far away she may start to army crawl or kind of whine in frustration. But she seems to enjoy the newfound mobility. She is also pulling up more often and cruising. She even let go once and stood on her own for a split second. Such a big (petite) girl! Okay, I will look up at you and you can take my picture, Mom.

But I am just going to be chill.

If our fans (maybe 3 or 4 readers? ha ha) are wondering about 9 months, should have a posting soon. The stats will be available this Thursday night because she will go in for her 9 month appointment this Thursday afternoon. Not excited about the shots, but excited to check in. :)

Snow?

We are enjoying the winter weather as much as we can out here in Missouri. So, what do we do? Dress Alison in a snow suit and stick her in the snow. She didn't seem to mind, but was not extremely excited either. Kind of like she just wasn't sure what to think.

Belated Christmas post (just one more!)

Getting ready to open presents at the Kleinhagen's. Pop-pop may be talking about crawling here....

This present is from Aunt Kelly. Alison really likes turning the faucet on. She also enjoys getting the things from the oven and inspecting all of the pieces with her mouth. Alison pulled up to standing on her own for the first time on this box! That was December 30th. Now she pulls up on me, laundry baskets, and/or any toys about the right height. We've only had one tip over so far and she was only slightly alarmed. The teachers at the day care think she is going to be fearless.
